Shortcuts help fellow HHCC users pinpoint hard-to-find codes

DYK_Header.jpg

... you can create shortcuts to hard-to-find codes with your User Notes

Because the User Notes are searchable, add a note to any code using your own terminology so you can find it easier the next time.

For example, you can create a note at I25.10 that says, “Use this code when the documentation simply states ‘coronary artery disease’”. Then the next time you need that code, simply open up the Code_Notes_Button.PNG section of your Toolbox  and type in "coronary artery disease" in the search box to pull up that code.

You’ll no longer have to remember that a combination of ischemic, atherosclerotic, heart and disease are needed to find that code in the Alpha Index.
