Pressure isn’t the only cause of skin ulcers. Stasis, arterial and diabetic ulcers all require multiple codes – one for the etiology and one to specify the location and severity of the ulcer itself. Keeping it all straight can be a challenge, but knowing the right combination of search terms can make your life easier. Learn how to find these codes using the Coding Center, as well as the guidance on each detail page for correctly assigning them in the proper sequence.
TBIs & SCIs
Monday, June 24th 2:00–2:30pm ET

See how to look up each of these codes on the Coding Center, and learn what rules govern their sequencing and the assignment of the 7th characters.
