A pair of enhancements and a fix for Account Administrators headline the release from this past weekend.
"." no longer required in Tabular Codes searches
When searching for ICD-10-CM codes under the Tabular Codes search option, users no longer have to include the period in the search. For example, queries for E11.69 and E1169 will yield the same result.
The same is true for Tabular Codes searches for ranges of codes. For example, queries for J41.0-J44.9 and J410-J449 will yield the same result.
HCC icons added to the code detail pages
For any ICD-10-CM code listed in a CMS-HCC Model Category under V22 or V24 – or in a CMS-HCC ESRD Model Category V21 or V24 – you will now find the above icon on the Code Descriptor Bar (see screenshot of E11.69). Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) are often used to calculate payments for patients insured by Medicare Advantage (MA) plans, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and others.
Coming Soon! Approximately 225 ICD-10-CM codes listed for the first time in CMS-HCC Model Category V28 will be given the same HCC icon. (Note that the other 8k+ codes in V28 already have the icon since the diagnosis was included in the above mentioned earlier versions.)
For Account Admins Only: Fixes to the Manage Users page functionality
This release resolved reported issues tied to managing users on multiple-user accounts, including errors when filling empty "seats", erroneous duplicate memberships, and display of expired memberships.
