An enhancement and a handful of fixes included in this weekend's release!
Effective Date added to ICD-10-CM detail pages
In response to users' request, we've added an Effective Date field to the ICD-10-CM code detail pages. The date displayed reflects the diagnosis' effective date as reflected in the CMS data file. You'll find it in the upper right corner of the orange descriptor bar:
Key Fixes
- The Tabular Codes search has been fixed to (a) autocomplete suggestions when codes without the "." are entered; and (b) returning results when a category and "." are entered.
So, for example, in case (a) if you enter E116 in the search box, you'll get the same autocomplete suggestions as you would had you entered E11.6
And for case (b), if you enter I50. you'll get the same results you would had you entered I50
- The autocomplete for the "Look Forward" searches is once again working. So, for example, a query of the coming FY2026 Alpha Index for "abdominal pain m" will show an autocomplete for multiple and "abdominal pain multiple s" will show the autocomplete for sites.
- The sort function has been restored to the Regulations & Guidance pages. So any section of those pages can be sorted chronologically, reverse-chronologically, alphabetically or reverse alphabetically by clicking the column header.
